Workshops on Advanced Spatial Analysis

July is a wonderful time to visit Santa Barbara, again. This summer I will be there attending a one-week advanced workshop on "Spatial Pattern Analysis," organized by the Center for Spatially Integrated Social Science with NIH funding.

Two years ago I was there for the SPACE workshop, also organized by CSISS but with NSF funding. Woke up by sound of rolling sea waves, we hiked to the mountains or practiced surfing on the beach in early mornings, but worked like crazy during the days. (Click here for my presentation at the end of the workshop.) Riding a rented bicycle all over the campus with a heavy backpack, I felt myself getting back to the "good old" college days.

Time to renew those memories.
